Item Details and Description:

• Fabric History/Pedigree:   Lightweight thin translucent deadstock cotton (new but unsold stock) estimated from the 1930s - 1950s.
  
  
• Fabric Description:  Lightweight,  slightly translucent black background with burgundy pinstripes as background to vertical (warp),  gradation spacing pinstripes running between irregular-edged stripes which average .25 inch / 6.35mm wide in light blue, white, and pink, all being lengthwise (vertical/warp); cotton yukata (summer kimono) fabric the same on both sides.
  
  
• Fabric Type: Still slightly firm, the fabric softens with wash. (hand-wash separately, with lukewarm water-- see our
